1. Acceptance of these terms
By adding the Katcha script to your site or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.
2. What Katcha does
Katcha is an invisible bot-detection layer. Your site loads a small script and calls our verification endpoint to receive a decision on whether a session is likely human.
3. Getting access
You sign up in the Katcha dashboard and receive a site key for each site, tied to your domains and plan.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use Katcha to profile, track, or identify visitors beyond determining whether they are human.
- Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the script or verification API.
- Do not use Katcha on a site engaged in illegal activity.
- Keep your site key confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Fees & billing
The Creator, Crew and Company plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at sign-up. Every plan starts with a free trial, and nothing is charged before the trial ends. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on the Creator or Crew plans. The Company plan includes dedicated support with an SLA.
7. Data & privacy
Our handling of data processed through Katcha is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Katcha you also agree to that policy.
8. Intellectual property
Katcha retains all rights to its software, scripts, and detection systems. You retain all rights to your site and content.
9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Katcha is provided as is. No detection system is perfect. To the extent permitted by Dutch and EU law, liability is limited to fees paid in the three months preceding a claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice. We then stop verifying requests for your site key and delete remaining session data on the usual retention schedule.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active customers before taking effect.
