Because a cat never announces itself before it catches something. That's the whole product philosophy, before it's a mascot.

We stopped punishing people for bots.

Most CAPTCHAs interrupt every visitor to catch a few bots, and the bots solve the puzzle anyway. People get stuck picking out crosswalks.

Katcha works the other way round. Three engines read fingerprints, behavior and reputation from more than 300 signals, and step in only when something looks wrong. No cookies, hosted in the Netherlands.
